Cineworks Independent Filmmakers Society
Cineworks Independent Filmmakers Society was formed to promote and encourage the production, distribution, and exhibition of independent film in British Columbia. Functioning as a production co-operative, Cineworks provides its members with the production equipment and facilities, information, related support structures and environment necessary for independent filmmaking.
The society has an active membership of over 200 filmmakers who are involved in a variety of aspects of independent filmmaking on an ongoing basis.

Video In Studios Media Arts Centre
Video In Studios is a not for profit video production, exhibition and distribution centre. We are an evolving organization operated by and for artists and media/community activists.
Since 1973, with the founding of the Satellite Video Exchange Society (SVES), Video In has grown into a vibrant artist-run centre with state of the art facilities and educational workshops. We have production equipment, studio space, audio, video and new media post-production facilities, and during regular hours of operation, light technical support is available to producers. Other exciting facets of the centre include ongoing public exhibitions of video and new media programs and Video Out's International Distribution network.

Canadian Independent Film Caucus
The Canadian Independent Film Caucus (CIFC) is an organization of over 450 working documentary producers in Canada. The Caucus acts as a lobby group for the documentary industry, as well as a network for producers and suppliers. They host monthly workshops for members on all aspects of documentary production and publish an industry email newsletter, The Sprocket, that helps members keep informed and part of the community.
